From the moment it was released, the cover of “Tylko mnie poproś do tańca” (“Just Ask Me to Dance”) became an instant hit. With over 3 million views and counting, this stunning reinterpretation of a Polish classic has touched hearts across the country. Directed by the visionary team of Danuta Nierada, Renata Carenzo, and Tomasz Gaj the music video takes viewers on a symbolic journey of love, loss, and redemption.

Eve’s Journey: Love, Paradise, and a Polish Melody

As a Creative Director, I have always believed in the power of storytelling through art. When the idea of creating a campaign centered around Polish culture and the symbolism of apples came to life, I knew it needed to be more than just a typical advertisement. Jabłonki Swawole, our cultural campaign, became a celebration of tradition, romance, and timeless Polish music.

One of its highlights was the music video featuring Sara James and Igor Herbut, who reimagined a classic Polish love song. But this wasn’t just about a beautiful duet—it was about telling a deeper story. A story about Eve.

The Story of Eve: From Paradise Lost to Love Found

Eve’s tale is as old as time itself. She was tempted, led astray by the devil, and lost her paradise. But this isn’t where her story ends. In her journey of self-discovery, she finds love. And through love, she finds a piece of paradise again.

This symbolic journey was at the heart of the music video. Set against the stunning backdrop of apple orchards, the visuals beautifully juxtapose loss and renewal. The apples, once a symbol of temptation, now represent hope and redemption. The video gently reminds us that love is the closest thing to paradise we can find on earth.

Filming Technique: Merging Romance with Visual Poetry

To tell this story, we needed more than great music and a beautiful set—we needed to transport the audience into Eve’s world. The filming technique played a crucial role. Every frame was designed to evoke emotions, from the golden hues of the orchards to the subtle interplay of light and shadow.

The choreography and camera movements symbolized Eve’s emotional journey. The early scenes carried a sense of tension and longing, while the latter radiated warmth and joy. The choice of slow, fluid shots gave the video a dreamlike quality, making it feel as timeless as the story it told.

Why Music Matters More Than Ads

Creating this campaign was a privilege. I had the honor of being the Creative Director and, in part, the co-director of the music video. Working with Sara James, just 15 at the time, and Igor Herbut was both a challenge and a joy. The song had to reflect Sara’s youthful energy while resonating with the emotional depth of Eve’s journey. The result was a romantic, unforgettable melody that lingers in the heart.

As much as I love clever advertising, I believe that art leaves a longer-lasting impression. A flyer might be thrown away the next day, but a song like this will be remembered for years. Collaborating with talented artists is a privilege because they bring something to the table that no ordinary campaign can achieve. Sometimes it’s challenging, but the results are always worth it.

A Campaign Worth Sharing

The Jabłonki Swawole campaign is more than just a celebration of apples. It’s a celebration of Polish culture, art, and the power of storytelling. By investing in music, art, and creativity, we’ve created something that brings joy and stays with people far longer than any conventional ad ever could.
