The story begins simply enough. Everyday life is turned upside-down—literally. Objects float, and no one knows why. Except for one girl. In a mysterious house, she discovers an old tape recorder endlessly playing the haunting melody Niech no tylko zakwitną jabłonie (Let the Apple Trees Bloom)

This surreal setting invites viewers into a dreamlike realm, blending the magic of music with the allure of storytelling. Why is the song holding everything together? That’s for the viewer to decide.

Reviving a Polish Classic

The original song, with music by Janusz Hajdun and lyrics by Jerzy Afanasjew, was a hit of its time. For #Jabłonki Swawole Festival 2022, we wanted to give it a modern twist. Bitamina’s version doesn’t just honor the classic—it reimagines it. Their dreamy sound pairs perfectly with the surreal story of the video.

The song became the official anthem of the festival, celebrating the magic of Polish apple culture.

A World Beyond the Ordinary

The video takes you to a place where normal rules don’t apply. Everyday settings like kitchens and fields transform as gravity lets go. Through stunning visuals and clever storytelling, the video captures the strange beauty of this new reality.

The girl’s discovery of the tape recorder gives the story its heart. The old machine becomes a symbol of stability in a world turned chaotic. It’s poetic and a little weird—in the best way possible.
